Taking Point

What is it?

Getting To the Other Side

Years ago, I was really sick, and the doctors weren’t sure what was wrong. At one

point, I remember thinking to myself: “I wish I had a “point man” like we had when I was

part of a Special Forces team to lead me out of this really difficult situation.”

A point man is responsible for taking the lead in a patrol; everyone else is following him.

It’s a big job. The “point man” is responsible for taking stock of the end destination and

setting the actual course (the “nuts and bolts”...if you will...of how we are going to get to

where we want to be). He is also responsible for spotting and planning for ambushes.

We All Face Ambushes

Setbacks are a part of life. We all experience them. But you can navigate through them

and come out the other side of them. Goldfinch Financial shows you how to navigate

the financial setbacks that are an inevitable part of the investment journey. Goldfinch

will show you how to safeguard your gains while continuing the forward progress toward

your financial goals.

Four “Point-Man Principles”

How will Goldfinch do that? By applying the four “point-man” principles to your

financial situation.

1. Relentless Belief In Your Mission

2. A Clearly Defined Destination and a Set Course

3. Risk Assessment and Situational Awareness

4. “Overcome” Mindset

Getting You to Your Goal

You don’t have to be afraid when setbacks happen. You just need to be prepared.

Your saving and perseverance has paid off. But now you have to be vigilant and

prepare for ambushes. Choppy and unpredictable markets can set you back. And after

all your saving and persevering, you shouldn’t be forced to start over.

Goldfinch Financial can “take point” and show you how to navigate the setbacks that

could force you back to square one.
